Financial Planning Process

financial planning process

fund your goals

No matter what stage of life you are in, it’s always the right time to have an updated financial plan. Creating and sticking to a financial plan is one of the most important things you can do for your future. Whether you are young and unsure how to get started, or nearing retirement and wondering if you can actually retire, Good Life has the tools and expertise to answer your questions.

Step 1

Initial consultation

Our first meeting is an introductory meeting so we can get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.

Step 2

Data collection

We’ll ask you to complete questionnaires to gauge risk tolerance and goals, and provide you with a document checklist. We’ll follow up to clarify your information for accuracy as we begin to customize recommendations for your financial plan.

Step 3

Financial planning

We develop the best plan and recommendations for you. Your financial plan is unique, providing you with the best opportunity for your specific goals.

Step 4

Plan presentation

We spend as much time as needed to walk through your plan and answer any questions. This is your life, and we want to make sure your financial plan is as clear and concise as possible.

Step 5

The financial plan is yours. If you select Good Life us as your investment advisory firm, we will work closely with you to implement your plan every step of the way. You’ll have 24/7 access to your accounts, and we’ll make sure you know how to check on them and what to look for.

Step 6

Plan updates

Since financial planning is a dynamic process, we meet with our clients at least annually to review and update all strategies and investments.
